Salary

The candidates who will be appointed to the post of Clerk would be called Junior Associates. As employees posted in the cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata get comparatively high amount. The SBI Clerk in hand salary for the newly appointed candidates will be between ₹ 26000 to ₹ 30,000/-. The difference in the SBI Clerk salary depends upon the job location of the candidates, the prevailing DA, HRA, and other factors.

Job profile

  • The SBI Clerks are responsible to open the bank accounts, looking after the transactions related to the NEFT/RTGS, issuing demand drafts, issuing bank statements, transferring amounts through several payment modes, handling cheque book requests, etc.
  • Assisting the Branch managers
  • Also assisting the consumers in their documentation of work.
  • Apart from customer dealing, the SBI Clerks will also have to perform general office-related tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and copying.
  • Need to complete the necessary paperwork for paying vendor invoices.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam is a Scoring as well as Merit deciding exam. There is sectional timing for each section i.e., General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The final merit list of candidates will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the SBI Clerk Mains exam. Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the SBI exam is a graduation degree in any of the streams such as BA, B.Com, BSc, B.Tech, etc., from a University recognized by the Government of India. A candidate who possesses the same qualification from the university recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.

Candidates should have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree:

The certificate which supports that they are graduates on the day they were registered for the exam.

The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at the time of registration for the SBI-Clerk examination.

Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is a must as SBI Clerk exam is conducted online.

Language Proficiency: Candidates should have proper verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT. The candidate should be able to read, write and speak the language.

Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:

Candidates applying for SBI Clerk Examination should be one of the following:

1. Citizen of India

2. Subject of  Nepal or  Bhutan

3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour.

Age

As per the State Bank of India Clerk Notification, candidates applying for the Clerk post must not be below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2021, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1993 and not later than 01.04.2001 (both days inclusive)

There is an upper age limit relaxation for certain candidates belonging to select categories. The details of this relaxation is given below in the table:

• Click on the latest announcement section.

• Notification reading- “Recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) Advertisement No. ” will appear.

• Click on “Apply Online” appearing.

• A registration link will open up in a new window.

• Click on New Registration in the application window. Then click on the register button.

• Candidates need to provide personal credentials like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc.

• Click on the submit button for the completed online registration. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID. Then, log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth, and password to complete registration for SBI Clerk 2022

• In the next step, upload a photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned by SBI.

• Login with your registered ID and password to fill up Part-2 of the application form.
