Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted every year by Central Board of Secondary Education as per the guidelines laid down by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This test is for the teaching job and held in 92 cities across India. A large number of CTET vacancies are released every year to fill the posts of teachers in multiple schools. CTET is gaining a fast-paced importance as it has become mandatory for the teachers to provide quality education to the younger generation.
There are two CTET test papers in the exam-Paper-I and Paper-II. For the lower classes from I-IV, Paper-I is required whereas, Paper-II needs to be given by the aspirants who are eligible to teach classes from VI to VIII. A total of 150 multiple questions are asked on various subject papers which need to be completed in two and half hours duration.
