Solution:

The correct answer is I and IIIOn December 22, 1953, the Central Government of India formed the States Reorganisation Commission (SRC) to recommend the reorganization of state boundaries. The Commission proposed in 1955, after nearly two years of study, that India's state borders be reorganized into 14 states and six territories. Fazal Ali, K. M. Panikkar, and H. N. Kunzru were members of the States Reorganisation Commission. Hence statement I is correct. The States Reorganization Act of 1956 adopted some of its proposals. Commission opposed the splitting of Bombay and Punjab. Hence statement II is incorrect. Any of the SRC's proposals were adopted by the States Reorganization Act of 1956. As per State Reorganization Act, 1956 passed by Parliament, 14 States and 6 centrally administered States were made. Hence statement III is correct.
