Important Rules for Coding- Decoding

The sample question you solved earlier is from topic ‘Coding-Decoding’ which is very important as far as Banking exams as well as other government exams are concerned. Following are the few rules which can be used to solve these types of questions:-
Rule 1) We have to learn the place value of alphabets from L.H.S. i.e. A=1, B=2, C=3 …… Z=26. For this we can learn a word ‘EJOTY’ in which each alphabet have a place value multiple of 5 i.e. (E=5, J=10, O=15, T=20 and Y=25).
Rule 2) In order to learn place value of each alphabet in alphabet series from R.H.S , Subtract the place value of given alphabet from 27. It is also called ‘Rule of 27’.
Rule 3) In order to solve these questions a person should be good in basic mathematical operations i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, squaring number etc.

Let us try some sample questions of bit higher level
