The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts an online examination to recruit Probationary Officers for multiple public sector banks operating in the country. The official notification for IBPS PO 2022 was released on August 1. IBPS PO application form was accepted online by the eligible candidates. Candidates could pay the application fees online. The application fees are INR 850 for the General and OBC categories and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.

How to Apply Online for IBPS PO?

The step-by-step process to fill IBPS PO application form 2022 is given below:
Step 1: IBPS PO Registration
• Visit the official website
• Click the link 'New Registration' on the home page of IBPS
• Enter name, phone number, email id, and security code
• Upon successful registration, a provisional registration number and password are generated
• The provisional registration number and password are also sent to the registered email ID and password

Step 2: Upload Photo and Signature
• Post the registration, candidates need to upload the photograph and signature
• Signature in capital letters is not accepted
• The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged

Step 3: Fill the Detailed Application Form
This page is divided into three parts, basic details, educational qualification & experience, and preferences. Candidates can below the details to be filled in each part:
Basic details: Here, candidates need to fill in the category, nationality, personal details, select exam centers, date of birth, gender, father's name or mother's name, address, etc. Educational qualification, work experience & languages: Here, candidates need to enter details of their graduation such as year of passing, college, percentage of marks, grade (if any). They are also required to enter their work experience. Candidates are also required to enter the languages they can read, write and speak.
Preferences: Candidates need to enter the preferences of banks where they wish to work upon selection. SC/ST/Minority candidates can opt for pre-exam training in this part.

Step 4: Preview of IBPS PO Application Form
Candidates must preview the application form before the final submission. They can edit the details entered in the application form while validating the same. Once this is complete, candidates need to agree to the terms and conditions and submit their applications.

Step 5: Uploading of Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration

Candidates need to upload the left thumb impression and handwritten declaration before proceeding towards paying the application fee. The left thumb impression should be in jpg/jpeg format in the dimension between 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI. The file size should be between 20kb and 50kb. The handwritten declaration should be in jpg/jpeg format and the dimension should be in 800x400 pixels in 200 DPI. The file size should be 50 kb to 100 kb.

Step 6: Fee Payment

• The application form is integrated with the payment gateway. Candidates need to follow the steps below for making payment
• The payment can be made by using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/ mobile wallets by providing information as asked
• On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt is generated
• Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee payment details
