IBPS Clerk Exam 2022

IBPS Clerical Cadre exam is conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) every year for the recruitment of clerk posts in all over the country. All public sector banks use CRP as a base to fill the vacancies for this post. IBPS is going to conduct the Clerical exam for the 12th year for FY 2022-23 and hence named IBPS Clerk CRP XII. The Clerk exam is conducted on two levels- the pre exam and the mains. Students qualifying in both these exams are thus selected for the post.

IBPS Clerk Apply Online

IBPS Clerk apply online link was activated on July 1, 2022. IBPS Clerk is golden opportunity for the banking aspirants who are waiting eagerly to the banking aspirants who wants to join as Clerks in the public sector bank. Shortlisting of candidates for IBPS Clerk is done based on prelims and mains exams. The application fees for IBPS Clerk 2022 were INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Candidates could also fill their IBPS Clerk application forms through their smartphones. According to IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria, any graduate candidate between 20 and 28 years as on July 1, 2022  could apply for the exam.

How to fill IBPS Clerk 2022 Application Form?

Candidates should follow the steps below to fill the application form: Documents Required for IBPS Clerk 2022 Apply Online
• Scanned photograph and signature
• Left thumb impression (LTI)
• Bank details for online transaction
• Valid email ID
• Handwritten declaration

The text for the handwritten declaration – “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Step 1: IBPS Clerk Online Registration
• Visit the official website
• Select the option 'IBPS Clerk apply online' on the home page of IBPS
• To register, click ‘New Registration’ link
• Enter the details such as post name, name, mobile number, email ID, and security code
• After successful completion, the registration number and password of IBPS Clerk are generated
• Candidates receive the registration number and password on their registered email ID and mobile number

Step 2: Upload Photograph & Signature
In the next step, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature. The specifications for uploading the photograph and signature are given below.


Step 3: Entering Details
In this part, candidates are required to enter their educational qualification, select IBPS Clerk exam centres, choices of participating banks, languages, etc.  

Step 4: Previewing IBPS Clerk Application Form
Before final submission, candidates should preview their IBPS Clerk application forms. In case candidates come across any mismatch in the details, they should correct those errors before final submission. After final submission of application form, candidates are not allowed to make changes in the details. Candidates should also agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the required check boxes and submit the application form.

Step 5: Uploading Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration Candidates must upload their left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per the specifications given below.


Step 6: Fee payment
The payment can be done by using debit cards/credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/mobile wallets. The fee structure is given below.

On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt is generated. Candidates can take a printout of the e-receipt and online IBPS Clerk application form.
