IBPS Clerk Exam 2022

IBPS Clerical Cadre exam is conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) every year for the recruitment of clerk posts in all over the country. All public sector banks use CRP as a base to fill the vacancies for this post. IBPS is going to conduct the Clerical exam for the 12th year for FY 2022-23 and hence named IBPS Clerk CRP XII. The Clerk exam is conducted on two levels- the pre exam and the mains. Students qualifying in both these exams are thus selected for the post.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Recruitment Notification

The recruitment notification for IBPS Clerk is published every year. The candidates appearing for the exam must read the notification and follow the information provided. Discussed below are a few points to note about the notification for the IBPS Clerk selection process:

IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Prelims Examination

The preliminary examination is the first stage of the IBPS Clerk selection process. It is an objective-type paper that is conducted in online mode. The prelims paper is divided into three sections - English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability. There are 100 questions in total carrying 1 mark each. IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Mains Examination

The candidates who have qualified for the preliminary exam are eligible for the main exam of IBPS Clerk 2022. The mains exam is divided into four sections - general awareness, English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability. The exam is conducted for 160 minutes. The IBPS Clerk mains exam 2022 will comprise multiple-choice questions of a total of 200 marks. Each wrong answer will lead to a deduction of one-fourth of the marks assigned to each question. IBPS Clerk Declaration of Results

The IBPS Prelims Exam is a screening test. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be entitled to take the main examination. Candidates' performance in the Mains Examination will be taken into account for final selection. The final IBPS Clerk Result will be determined by the candidates' performance in the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam. Candidates which are chosen in the final round would be issued appointment letters to join the company.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Document Verification

Document verification is the final stage of the IBPS Clerk selection process. The candidates are called to join the banks that they have been allotted to for training after the documents have been verified. All the data submitted while filling up the application form is verified in this stage. Given below is a list of important documents that the candidates must carry for this stage:

o Graduation/ Post Graduation certificate
o Mark sheet
o Certificate of professional experience (if any)
o NOC from HoD for candidates working in any Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking
